Your trip

A trip planned around your cycle, not the other way around.

You book your own flight and hotel. We tell you how long to stay and which days to be here, and we confirm the dates with you as your cycle starts.

When to book your flight

Your period sets the date

1

We estimate your window

After your online consultation, the doctors estimate when your next cycle starts, from how regular you are and your tests. It's a range of days, not a single date.

2

Book a flexible ticket

To arrive within that window. A fare you can change is worth it: your period can come a few days earlier or later than expected.

3

Your period confirms it

Message us the day you first notice spotting. Plan to be in Mexico City by the day your period actually starts: that's day one of your cycle.

Getting here

A short flight, a calm stay

Mexico City has nonstop flights from many US and Canadian cities. The clinic is in Lomas de Chapultepec, next to Polanco, a walkable neighborhood with parks, restaurants and hotels. You book your hotel directly; these are a few near the clinic.

Before you fly

What to have ready

  • Your passport. Check the entry requirements for Mexico for your nationality before you book.
  • Your previous tests, sent to us ahead of time, so the doctor can review them before you arrive.
  • A list of any medications you take today.
  • A return flight you can change, in case your retrieval or transfer moves a day or two.

While you're here

Between appointments

During stimulation you give yourself the injections where you're staying. You come to the clinic to pick up your medications and for monitoring every few days, and the visits are usually quick. Chapultepec Park, Polanco's streets and the city's museums are close by.

Bring your partner or someone close. Your retrieval is done under sedation, and it helps to have someone with you that day. We give you all your care instructions at the clinic.

Planning your budget?

As a rough guide, IVF with transfer usually comes to about US$12,500 for the whole trip, counting treatment, flight and hotel; egg freezing, about US$10,000. These are estimates only: you book your flight, hotel and logistics, and they aren't part of our prices.

Questions

Before you plan the trip

Do you book my flight or hotel?

No. You book them directly, with the dates and options that suit you. We give you the days you need to be here and a few hotels near the clinic.

What if my period comes earlier or later than expected?

That's normal, and it's why we give you a window, not a single date. Message us on the first day of your period and we adjust the plan with you.

Do I need to travel for the first consultation?

No. The first consultation is online, by video, for US$97. You only travel if you decide to go ahead with a treatment.

Do I need to speak Spanish?

No. Our team speaks English, from your first call to your last visit.

Should someone come with me?

We recommend it. Your retrieval is done under sedation, so it helps to have your partner or someone close with you to accompany you that day.

Book your consultation

Would you like us to call you?

Leave your details and we'll reach out to answer your questions and, if you'd like, book your online consultation. You don't need to decide anything that day.

The consultation is to study your case and see what options you have. It isn't a treatment and doesn't commit you to one. If your case needs it, we then send you your plan and its cost in writing.
